New Posting About Drug Reactions: Allergic or Not?

Drug reactions are very common in this world of pill seeking societies. Adverse drug reactions can be classified into two major categories: Allergic type and Non-allergic.

The allergic type and can be life threatening and hence, should be identified and avoided. This means the drug should not be taken again. Furthermore, similar drugs should be avoided because they may also trigger the same reaction.

The most common allergic drug reactions are to antibiotics. Penicillin based drugs head the list, in part, because they are so widely prescribed. Fortunately, penicillin testing is available and may identify whether a person has allergic sensitivity.

Learn much more about allergic and non-allergic drug reactions!
